Inspired by his love for Ireland, Comte bid adieu to Paris in 2020 and embarked on a mission to tantalize Irish taste buds with the essence of French gastronomy. With a full delicatessen, catering, and take-out offerings, ICIAR is renowned for its meticulously curated cheese and charcuterie boxes, mouthwatering Croque-Monsieur, gourmet coffee, freshly baked French bread, pastries, sandwiches, and a selection of French wines—all served with flair in its Parisian-inspired café located at Whelehans Wines in Loughlinstown.

ICIAR proudly announces its victory as the Best Delicatessen in Ireland 2024 at the esteemed French Champion Awards, held in Ireland. ICIAR faced formidable competition from renowned establishments such as Dunnes Stores, Fallon & Byrne, and Donnybrook Fair, making its victory all the more noteworthy.
The French Champion Awards, organized by Business France and the French government trade agency, aimed to recognize and honour the outstanding contributions of Irish businesses in promoting and showcasing French produce.

At the same time, our cafe serves up exquisitely curated cheese and charcuterie platters, the best Croque Monsieur in the land, gourmet coffee, freshly baked French bread, croissants, patisserie and sandwiches.
